Michael Pincus, Associate Principal, is one of the newest members of the prestigious International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC). The IAPSC prides itself on only accepting professional, educated, experienced, and ethical candidates, which Michael is a prime example.
His work with multiple Departments of the US Government, including the US Department of State National Visa Center, has ensured that national buildings are safe and secure. He has also worked with the Army Corps of Engineers on classified buildings and BAE Systems, a leading defense contractor.
In higher education facilities, which include University of Massachusetts Amherst, Franklin and Marshall College, and Springfield College, Michael is working with design teams and the campuses to ensure that students and faculty are protected. At the College of Southern Maryland, he helped with the design of a mass notification system throughout four campuses, which can alert and inform students and faculty of any important emergencies.
His current work with the NYU Langone Medical Center involves a state-of-the-art Visitor Management System at the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital. This system provides security to patients and families by monitoring visitors against an approved list and allowing access to permitted areas. The VMS is integrated with existing hospital systems and allows for Real Time Location tracking for guest and patient location.
Michael works closely with the client to determine system requirements, and provides subsequent system design and project management services. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in several states, a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and an Infocomm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
