Boston University transformed 3,000 square feet of existing lab space into a Student-Centered Active Learning Environment for Undergraduate Programs (SCALE-UP), with associated lobby and collaborative study support spaces. The classroom accommodates up to 81 students and provides extensive AV/IT infrastructure to support the SCALE-UP teaching philosophy.

The Spark is a revolutionary teaching and learning space at Washington State University designed to enhance active learning. The facility includes a variety of classroom types including the active learning hall which is a circle-in-the-round accommodating 360 degrees of projected content that encourages democracy, participation and teamwork between students and teaching staff. The interior design employs modular furniture which anticipates the need for flexibility for group collaboration.
The Brody Learning Commons at Johns Hopkins University is a new four story addition to the Milton Eisenhower Library and includes group study spaces, seminar rooms, and a state-of-the-art lab designed to integrate the role of scientists into the field of paper and manuscript conservation.

The renovation of the Perkins Library was an opportunity for Duke University to add a technology-rich Teaching and Learning Center to the building in order to reach its pedagogical goals focused on experimentation and diverse styles. Known as “The Link”, this new facility houses six experimental classrooms, four seminar rooms and eleven group study rooms coupled with less formal spaces that encourage collaboration, individual work and kiosk style computing.
