Susan Featherston, MPH is a Senior Strategic Consultant at Vantage. Susan has employed her love of data across various industries such as non-profits, higher education, federal government (CDC), and academic research for the past 20 years. She brings a deep understanding of strategic operations within higher education, focusing on analytics, data governance, change management, organizational strategy, service and process improvement, and executive communications.

Prior to joining Vantage, Susan held leadership roles at Colorado School of Mines and Emory University. She led teams implementing IT strategic plan initiatives and created analytic dashboards and processes to support the institution.

Most recently, she managed Department of Labor IT registered apprenticeship programs in cybersecurity, devops, and software development for a Denver workforce development non-profit, ActivateWork. Her strong program leadership resulted in a 2022 Colorado Apprenticeship Award as well as one of the few program leaders invited to attend the White House’s 2022 National Apprenticeship Week event.

Susan holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi. She, her husband, cat, and dog currently reside in Littleton, Colorado.
