Amie Runk, PMP

Amie Runk is a Strategic Analyst at Vantage. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 13 years of experience in higher education. Amie is passionate about building relationships and guiding positive collaboration to ensure exceptional engagements with Vantage clients.

In her most recent role, Amie was the Portfolio Manager for CourseGateway, a partnership between EDUCAUSE and the Gates Foundation. The partnership aimed to enable higher education institutions to select courseware solutions for introductory college-level courses designed to improve learning outcomes for Black, Latine, Indigenous, and low-income students.

Prior to working with EDUCAUSE, Amie spent over a decade at Florida State University (FSU), working in student affairs program management roles. There she served a satellite venue of the Student Union called the Askew Student Life Center (ASLC), home to the on-campus movie theater and cyber cafe. At the ASLC, she had the privilege of supervising and advising hundreds of creative and committed FSU students, managing multiple budgets, and project managing the execution of a wide variety of film, gaming, and special events for a campus of over 40,000 students.

Amie is a two-time alumna of FSU, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Creative Writing and Mass Media Studies and a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration. A native of Florida, she enjoys spending time in the air conditioning with her daughter, husband, and their two cats. Amie also loves watching movies and TV, making playlists, drinking orange soda, and making her daughter smile.
