Vantage Technology Consulting Group is excited to announce that Kirk Kelly has joined our firm as a Vice President. Kirk’s career experience spans over 30 years in higher education. He brings strong expertise in leading information technology organizations by setting direction, developing policies, and engaging employees.

Prior to joining Vantage, Kirk was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Portland State University where he provided vision, leadership, oversight, and management for the University’s comprehensive academic and administrative technology services. His work in restructuring the OIT organization and increasing employee job satisfaction, resulted in being recognized by Computerworld Top 100 Best Places to Work in IT for the last five consecutive years.
Kirk has a long and distinguished history of service to the higher education community that includes serving as a faculty member and director of the EDUCAUSE Leadership Institute, the Annual Conference Program Committee for EDUCAUSE, the Northwest Academic Computing Consortium (NWACC), and Vantage’s Leadership Lounge Program. He’s presented at past EDUCAUSE Annual Conferences on topics including: “GDPR, CCPA: Data Privacy and Security Laws——What’s Next?”; “Work/Life Balance, They Say. Is it Possible? How Can I Get There?”; and “Technology in Higher Education: Shaping the Future Workforce.”.
Kirk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Information Systems and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems.
Kirk will join Vantage’s Strategic Planning and Technology Management consulting practice where he will contribute to our firm’s thought leadership in:
