Monica Knight

Monica is a strategic thinker and implementation specialist who serves as a dedicated Project Manager for Vantage’s healthcare projects. Her education in Healthcare Informatics and professional background in healthcare IT, electronic health records (EHR) implementation, workflows, and software implementation support Vantage’s innovative planning and design approach. Monica is well-known for her ability to assist clients in the discovery and visioning process, but also to lead the way towards grounded solutions informed by schedule, functionality, implementation and collective adoption.

Monica brings a particular expertise in understanding provider and nursing workflows for healthcare technologies to project teams. These include Cerner EHR applications and JIRA/Confluence. Notable professional highlights include project and implementation management efforts such as new Immunization Information Systems (IIS) Implementation for Departments of Health in Mississippi and South Dakota, managing the installation of Omnicell pharmacy automation software and hardware throughout hospital systems nationwide, serving as a training facilitator for ambulatory and mental health tracks for the VA EHRM program, and serving as an adoption coach / zone lead for women’s health and maternity for the MHS Genesis initiative of the Department of Defense.

Monica earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and is in process of a Healthcare Informatics Master’s degree from the University of San Diego’s Hahn School of Nursing.
