Vantage Technology Consulting Group is excited to announce that Shannon Dunn has joined our firm as a Strategic Consultant. Shannon’s career experience spans higher education, federal government (USDA), and anthropological field research.

She brings strong expertise in instructional design and educational technology services as well as a passion for strategic planning. Shannon has also been actively involved in equity and inclusion efforts in higher education.

Prior to joining Vantage, Shannon provided leadership and team management at the University of Florida’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT) where she and her team focused on excellence for a portfolio of instructional and academic technologies.

Shannon’s community service includes a leadership role in the EDUCAUSE Young Professionals Community Group, and she was recognized with the 2020 EDUCAUSE Rising Star Award for her exemplary growth and achievements in the areas of instructional design, educational technology, and staff leadership.

Shannon holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art History from New College of Florida.

Shannon will join Vantage’s Technology Visioning and Innovation consulting practice where she will contribute to our firm’s thought leadership in:

  • Campus and strategic planning
  • Academic technology visioning & futurism
  • Digital and remote workplace strategy
  • Stakeholder engagement and technology workshops
  • Enhanced academic technology programming for new building projects
