Vantage Technology Consulting Group is excited to announce that Jacqueline Pitter has joined our firm as a Senior Strategic Consultant. Jacqueline has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and corporate IT arenas with a strong focus on information security, infrastructure administration, and software design.

She is a well-known and respected higher education colleague, and we are excited to have her join our team where she will be involved in our network modernization and information security projects.”

Most recently, Jacqueline was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Senior Infrastructure Administrator at Reed College. Before that Jacqueline worked as a one-person IT department for a small, private middle school and high school, and as a software design engineer with Hewlett-Packard. 

Jacqueline is a frequent speaker on information security topics and a former member of the EDUCAUSE Higher Education Information Security Advisory Committee, where she served as the program chair for the 2019 Security Professionals Conference. Jacqueline graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an MS in computer sciences and received her BA in mathematics from Reed College. In addition to holding information security certificates from the University of Washington, Jacqueline currently holds the CISSP certification and earned the CCNA Switching and Router (2013) and Security (2016) certifications. 

Jacqueline joins Vantage’s strategic consulting service focusing on higher education where she will contribute to our firm’s thought leadership in: 

  • Network modernization 
  • Information security program development 
  • Technology architecture 

On a personal note, Jacqueline enjoys sailboat racing (both on the Columbia River and offshore) and is the planning committee chair for the 2022 Ranger 20 Nationals Regatta.
