Project Description:

The College of Business comprises a large new building and a small renovation totaling 159,000 square feet.  The program includes classroom spaces that will accommodate a variety of teaching and learning methods, lecture theaters and classrooms, breakout rooms, networked trading room for managing investments, multimedia and open labs, a video production facility, faculty offices, an auditorium and the Dean’s conference suite.  All of the rooms include extensive audiovisual, distance learning and educational technologies.  The large lecture rooms include broadcast capabilities.

Vantage provided programming, design services and installation oversight for the audiovisual, media and educational technology systems; architectural and engineering support for the integration of systems into the overall design and specification of the AV related structured cabling systems.  Technologies include high-definition playback and projection systems in each classroom, a video production and editing facility, video conferencing capabilities financial data feeds and a stock ticker in the atrium.   This eco-friendly LEED Gold building, the ninth building on campus to receive that certification, and only the fourth business school nationally.
