Project Description:

Vantage is assisting architects MDA Johnson Favaro in producing designs for a prototype classroom and a classroom upgrade as part of the South Campus Building project at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.  The South Campus project is the second largest construction venture in the LACCD’s Prop A/AA Bond Construction Program and will consist of two new five-story buildings. These will house 66,000 square feet of technology classrooms,  56,000 square feet of student services, a 1,800 square foot utility building and extensive landscaping.  The two new academic buildings will each be LEED-certified-silver, a rating system of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) in step with LACCD’s commitment to green building.

Vantage is providing Architectural and Engineering planning support for the integration of information technology, voice and audiovisual systems as well as design and specification of the audiovisual structured cabling systems.
