Richard’s technical expertise spans communications engineering, audiovisual systems design and technology project management. He has strong business management abilities, drawing from formal studies as well as from his experience leading a large multi-disciplinary architectural engineering firm. He approaches his work in an open and collaborative manner, providing innovative technology solutions as he seeks to focus attention on key operational issues, and to identify results oriented solutions.

Richard operates effectively in diverse and multicultural environments, having successfully completed projects across the US, Asia and Europe. His qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Communications Engineering and a graduate degree in Applied Acoustics. He has also completed the intensive Year 2000 Advanced Management Program at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

For over fourteen years Phil has provided strategic technology planning, systems design, engineering and installation services on communications and information technology projects throughout the US and Europe. He applies his extensive project experience, strong communication skills and comprehensive technical knowledge to help organizations envision the role of technology in their future. With a strong technology vision as a basis, Phil then guides his clients through the complex process of building effective and resilient technology systems and infrastructure.

Phil serves on the Educational Advisory Council of the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), and is a regular speaker at conferences and events focusing on technology and its impact on the built environment. He holds an undergraduate degree (BEng., Honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Eric has been responsible for the design and implementation of audiovisual projects around the world. Managing projects through the entire project life cycle, Eric has worked with all partners in the project chain starting with the owner management and technical staff to define the project requirements, working through the design and coordination with the architect and engineering team, and finally carrying the project through implementation with the contractors on site. He has presented on the convergence of technologies to BICSI; has earned his designation as Certified Technical Specialist- Design (CTS-D) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Mike has over 24 years of higher education experience in technology planning, management, and administration. For the past five years he has worked as a consultant providing technology and business consulting services to the technology departments of colleges and universities throughout the country.

Mike possesses extensive technical, administrative, and financial knowledge gained in a broad spectrum of senior level line and staff endeavors. His management experience includes direct responsibility for the operation of a full service university telecommunications auxiliary enterprise and he has successfully held direct management responsibility for projects up to $100M. His project development and project management experience ranges from large communications system and infrastructure projects to projects dealing with complex financial analyses, technology and organizational assessments, and RFP development. Mike also has extensive experience in the development and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements with a variety of technology vendors, public utilities and municipalities. Mike works in a collaborative style and functions effectively at all levels of administration.

Geoff has been in the communications industry for over 35 years and an independent consultant specializing in higher education and health care since 1980. He is recognized as one of the foremost consultants in the higher education marketplace specializing in technology planning, cost analysis, business continuity planning, and the convergence of voice, data and video technologies in support of administrative functions, technology in the classroom, and student services. He has been directly involved as principal consultant or project manager on over a hundred and fifty projects, controlling the activities of all consultants, subcontractors, and vendors. In addition to strategic technology planning, Geoff has conducted system design, RFP development, proposal evaluation, contract negotiations, and implementation oversight for numerous institutions - public and private, large and small - all with demanding, unusual, or complex requirements. A highly respected lecturer for industry seminars and association gatherings, he has also published numerous articles in telecommunications industry magazines and journals.
