Developing a Strategic Technology Plan and Designing the Technology System for a new 7-Story 410,000 Sq. Ft. Acute Care Hospital

Replacement of the existing 50-year old Peninsula Medical Center includes construction of a new seven-story, 410,000 square-foot acute care hospital with 232 private rooms on the suburban medical center campus. A neighboring 200,000 square-foot medical office building, including 84,000 square-feet of offices for specialty physicians on three floors, will be directly connected to the hospital to optimize the delivery of quality patient care.

Vantage is working with the hospital to develop the strategic technology program for integrated technology and low voltage systems for the new facility and to design these systems. Focused on Sutter’s goal of implementing its electronic medical record system, the technologies provided in the new hospital will provide workflow and process improvements and enhance the healing environment for patients, staff and visitors.
