Designing, Selecting and Implementing
a Next-Generation
Nurse/Patient Communications System for a Campus-Wide
Upgrade and Expansion
Good Samaritan will invest $207 million during the next decade on expansion projects to provide access to state-of-the-art medical care in the Puyallup area with a master site plan that outlines campus development for the coming decades. Projects include a $15-million, 34,000 sq ft interior development of the top floor of the hospital's west wing, a second cardiac catheterization laboratory, two critical care units and a $16 million state-of-the-art Cancer Center (pictured above) that will offer some of the world’s most advanced cancer-fighting diagnostic technology. Vantage is working with Good Samaritan to select, design, and assist with the implementation of a next generation campus-wide integrated Nurse Call and Code Alarm system that will provide a high level of communication between staff and patients.
