Michael has over 24 years of higher education experience in technology planning, management, and administration.  For the past 15 years he has worked as a consultant providing technology and business consulting services to the technology departments of colleges and universities throughout the country.

Michael possesses extensive technical, administrative, and financial knowledge gained in a broad spectrum of senior level line and staff endeavors. His management experience includes direct responsibility for the operation of a full service university telecommunications auxiliary enterprise consisting of over 90 employees and a $14 million operating budget at Yale University and Medical Center.  He has successfully held direct management responsibility for projects up to $100 million.

His project development and project management experience ranges from large communications system and infrastructure projects to projects dealing with complex financial analyses, technology and organizational assessments, disaster planning and RFP development.   Michael also has extensive experience in the development and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements with a variety of technology vendors, public utilities and municipalities.  Michael works in a collaborative style and functions effectively at all levels of administration.
